I spoke at the public library as a part of their summer lecture series. We explored the rise and reign of Harlan Blackburn, Santo Trafficante, and other local mafia leaders from the 1920s through 1970s. We discussed the web of illegal liquor, drugs, gambling, and murder that gripped the region for decades.

A few times a year, I schedule public walking tours of the historic district in Longwood, Florida. We meet at the Farmer's Market and spend an hour walking and talking about the history of the community. They are free, but any donations benefit the Longwood Historic Society.

Planned and MCed this innagural holiday event in Historic Longwood. I led a tour of the historic district and spoke about the history of the community, followed by a cocoa and cider reception, a Christmas tree lighting, and caroling through the neighborhood.

Spoke about the history of Casselberry and Fern Park, Florida at the historic museum in Winter Park. Covered over a century of stories and the connection with architect James Gamble Rogers II in establishing an identity for the fledgling community.

I delivered a passionate talk about the nature of systematic oppression of Black Americans since the end of slavery, through its evolving forms. Then we watched the Netflix documentary. Afterwards, I moderated a panel discussion on race with local leaders.
